Lawn Care
Precision mowing, treatment and seasonal programs that keep Cape Cod lawns dense, even and healthy all year.
Overview
A Thick, Green Lawn, Even On Cape Code Sand
Sandy soil drains fast and doesn't hold nutrients, so Cape lawns thin out, brown up by July and fill in with crabgrass and grubs if they're not managed. We mow on a set weekly schedule and pair it with a feeding program timed to our seasons, following Massachusetts and local town fertilizer rules.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be home when you come?
No. We just need access to the lawn. Many of our clients are at work or off-Cape when we service their property.
Why does my lawn turn brown every July?
Sandy Cape soil drains fast and dries out quickly in the summer heat. The right mowing height, feeding schedule and watering (or irrigation) make a big difference.
Do you treat for grubs and crabgrass?
Yes. Crabgrass prevention goes down in early spring, and grub control goes down in early summer, before the damage shows up.
Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?
We'll tell you how long to stay off the lawn after each treatment, usually until it dries. Treatments are applied by licensed staff.
Do you follow the town fertilizer rules?
Yes. Massachusetts limits phosphorus and when fertilizer can be applied, and several Cape towns have their own rules to protect ponds and bays. Our program follows them.
When is the best time to aerate and overseed?
Late summer to early fall. The soil is still warm and the nights are cooler, so new grass comes in strong before winter.
